So, I am addicted to the Pioneer Woman's website.  And now I am checking out the other sites that she recommends.This internet is a VORTEX!! I need to pull myself away.  The house needs to be cleaned.  I know the dust and dirt can wait until next week but that is what I said last week.  Thanks goodness the kids clean the bathrooms or we would be swimming in our own ____! (What movie is that line from?)

     I took in an old gold bracelet to the jeweler today and cashed it in.  It was from an old boyfriend and I NEVER wore it.  I am not particularly found of gold jewelry.  Don't mean to offend any of you who do.  I just think silver is must more shiney and prettier.  Must be the Indian in me.  Not real fond of turquoise though.  Anyhoooooo, I got quite a pretty penny for it.  At least something good came out of that old relationship.  So as they say, "Easy come. easy go".....it went.  Right after we got home form the jeweler.  Got online and ordered the fifth grade curriculum for my fifth grader.  Well at least I can't miss the money, I didn't have it long enough.  Would have liked to use some of it though.  Joann's has embroidery thread for 50% off.  I want to start playing around with Mom's machine.  My summer is slipping away form me and all the "fun" projects that I wanted to do  have not been accomplished.  I have exactly four weeks until vacation, which means I have only six short weeks until home schooling starts again.

    Ok, the house is not got any cleaner.......
